Fall 2021 Nanotechnology Virtual Field Trip with Hands-on Activities

Presented by SENIC (Southeastern Nanotechnology Infrastructure Corridor) Georgia Institute of Technology

Grades: 8-12

Length: 45 minutes to 1 hour

Cost: Free Materials Provided

Learn about the exciting world of nanotechnology, the science of the super small, by having your classroom engage in a virtual workshop with hands-on activities. Your students will learn about nanotechnology, the nanoscale, how some materials behave differently at that scale, and the everyday household items that contain nanotechnology

High school students are invited to learn more about the college admissions process through the experience of SWE members! Activities include a 'picking the right college for you' activity, majors fair, and a Q&A panel with SWE members.

K-12 Students K.I.D.S. Club and STEAM Workshop

Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing Student Programs provide inspiring STEAM enrichment and outreach for K-12 students. K.I.D.S. Club and STEAM Workshop provides in-person programming to K-12 students outside of the traditional school day. Through our Saturday programs for students in grades 2nd through 12th,  we provide innovative hands-on STEAM educational education once a month during the school year.
